Awesome. Be sure to post some pics, I can't wait to see that. I'm thinking of building a blue one myself but I'll go with the Maiers, kind of like a Christmas special clone.

i would prefer the plastic panels but these are different and cheaper. we just finished up a build for my buddy's daughter using the stock style fiberglass and it turned out real nice. i'll be sure to update as stuff comes in.

Where did you get your new engine? I have a 70 roller and I'm exploring options.

Also, want to part with any of you leftover parts?

My new project...

Eric, Are you going to extend the frame? Are you going to weld in a piece of angle to help keep the backbone from bending again? I can't find those Tiger triples anywhere??? Bruce says he doesn't have them. Think about putting a little vent into the upper valve cover. A threaded 90 with a press on flex line end and a piece of tubing running all the way back under the rear fender should help. Those little engines can build up a bit of internal case pressure when running at high revs for a bit. It will help from having weeping gaskets. A cooler helps too besides the added benefit of having a little extra oil capacity.

im trying to extend the frame now pat. my machinest had a plane hit his shop and it was a total loss. i dont have anyone to machine me a slug for the backbone. i really need to get it fast as i have only 12 days to get it all back together.

Where was his shop, at the end of the runway? Is he ok? Did you try to get ahold of
blue27 or SWIGIN and see what they can hook you up with????
