Emailed the guy, said his brother has it, would take $1400. Good deal? I don't know much about tri-z's. Heard they are slowest of the 3, but have the most bottom end? If so, thats exactly what im looking for.

Well this guy says its by far faster than a 250R! lol. I think its priced absolute max of what its worth. If you can talk him down a little bit I think it would be a decent buy, it looks really nice. Otherwise I'd say its high for a TRI-Z. If you are looking for bottom end, then an 83 or 84 250R isn't bad either.

$1400 is a little high?
Its the cheapest and nicest trike up here. Few days ago, some guy had a 350x up for $5000. I'd really like a 350x, but they are all trashed and $2000. same with 250r's. $2000, and look like hell (flames, painted parts ETC)

Oops. I went off the $1650 on the add. I'm trying to mulitask my job and 3ww and didn't pay attention to the $1400. lol. I think that sounds real fair, thats a little more what I had in mind with coming down a bit from $1650. It doesn't seem like the TRI-Z's demand quite the money of some of the other bikes, just my opinion on that I guess.
looks pretty clean, good deal imo if it was gone through properly...it would last about 2 mins on kijiji here i say go for it!!

the bike looks like a killer deal to me..i think bown 331 is probly in an area that 3wheelers are plentiful and cheap...here where i live they would ask 2 to 2500 for a tri-z like that...but dont let that stop you from trying to talk him down more lol...but as long as it runs good and not alot of little problems he isnt telling you about id say $1400 is good
I always look at this way. You could buy a clapped out one for 500-600 and tear it down and do all the work that this one supposedly has done to it. If you think it will only cost 800-1000 to get it to this level you need to add about 300-400 more to that then that comes out to what 1800-2000. You can never build one for what you can buy one for already built.
Start adding up all the things that are new on this bike then factor in the cost of one that is complete and runs and then add 300-400 to that and see which one comes out ahead. Unless your the type of guy that only wants a bike that you yourself know 100% I think its a hell of a deal for $1400.

If when you go look at it, and it is as solid as advertised, go for it.

I would go for it. TRI-Z's are great bikes and that one looks good for the price if it has all that the add says. You'll be sorry to let a good Z go. Great bikes for the trails.
