Does anyone know if the rear sprocket for the YTZ250S slides off the axel or it has to twist off? I'm asking this as my one needs replacing and will not budge so before I damage something by attempting to use more force in the wrong direction I need to know. I don't want to try hitting it off when it needs a good twist etc. Thanks
the sprocket itself comes off when you take the nuts off it sits on a shoulder on the sprocket hub might be a bit stuck, give it a tap on the right side (throttle side) should come off.the sprockekt hub slides off the axle the same way when the two big axle nuts and wheel hub are removed.

Thanks for that! just like many other things it seems seized on, I shall attempt to get it off the axle tomorrow.
