Howdy all! Truth is I was thinking about getting rid of my250es three wheeler. I was searching for a value for the new in the package fenders to sell them locally when I ran accross your forum. After looking around a little I think you've about changed my mind. I love riding and using the thing and it's a lot cheaper than a new quad and it turns sharper to boot.
I've been using mine to haul water out of the creek and irrigate around the house and darn near wore the thing out the last few weeks but it get's the job done until something breaks. Finally had to get a new rear tire today as the blow out wouldn't even hold with a tube in it any more.
Later guys and thanks for the forum.

Welcome to the site!
Also, aren't you due for another movie? The sum of all fears left something to be desired! Tell Tom Clancy to get a move-on! ;)

PS. the thread what brought me here was the accessory pictures thread and guys were asking about a reese hitch adapter for hitch balls. I wanted to post there but couldn't so I'll put up a pic here of my own back yard solution. I just cut holes in a piece of flat steel and put the hitch ball through so I've still got a hole to use as well. never have needed more.

Dang, since I last posted here, I lost a rear tire.
Do I REALLY have to pay $130 to get a dang tire for this thing? Even that was about 3 inches taller than the old tires even though the size said it was the same. I couldn't even get the OD close to the same size by over inflating one and low air on the other. It was still too big so I returned it and the tire store refunded the cash.
Any suggestions?

I've probably got the only Big Red on the planet with a genuine kangaroo leather seat.
My wife is a leather worker and had this piece of hide she got cheap and my dad was an upholster... wa la! Kangaroo leather seat, that stuff is tuff, I've been rough on this thing and it doesn't show a scratch on the leather.

When it get's a scratch or two any where else I just get out the rattle can camo and give it a squirt or two until I'm satisfied again.

Hey duder, just put some tubes in your tires instead of buying a new one...

I rode it for several years with a tube in the blow out and tried it a second time but apparently the hole is too big now. It blew out again in just a few days.

Do I really have to wait months to list stuff in the classifieds? I think it said 10 posts so I'm close on that.
Even on that cheap tires link I got off another thread it's gonna be 92 dollars to get one tire and then it's probably not going to match the circumferance, 73 inches. Then I'll be another 92 dollars in to something I still can't ride so I'll have to spend another 92 on obsolete stuff that something else will break.
What is this stuff worth? Could you guys get me in the ball park I must be way off.
New plastic rear fenders in factory package?
Brake shoes front and rear?
Then what you see in the pics minus one tire?
I only use it around the house and I just keep flipping back and forth, fix it? Get rid of it and get a 4w? This is the only place I've seen any one even interested in them. Is it hard to get parts when the next thing breaks? Judging from what I see ads for it will be the kick starter or the shift lever shaft. Does Honda sell those or is it another scavenger hunt?
How about those front fork seals for the hydraulic "shock"? I put some in there years ago and the axle was busted to. I got those fixed and rolling but those seals still just leak all the time. I'm sure it's low on fluid. I see a lot of totally different looking shock set ups on your machines. What are you doing about those problems on yours?
I know I'm getting close to an ad here so if it offends the site owners just delete it or jump on me and I'll delete it but I really don't know which way to go with this and it's all still just laying in a pile in the way right now.

I went up to the garage yesterday to take the battery out and put it on the charger so at least it stayed good. I was standing there looking all all the mess scattered around flip flopping on which way I'd go and I'd just read your post. Decided I'd hit the starter while it was laying there on the ground and the thing fired right up.
Just decided for $165 I could be riding that thing right now and every day I use it and don't have to buy $3000 dollar 4whlr it's like I got back a couple dollars even if don't use it, it's saving me from spending money I can use else where.
Soon as I get it rolling I'm gonna work on some of those accessory mods I saw in that other thread. I like the bars around the foot pegs and the hand guards. I think I can do those with my welder and torch pretty easy.

If it becomes too much to keep up with, you always have the option to sell it.
