I finally got it. A rotax 250cc L/C. The motor is complete. The Tiger will soon be in restored state..............God Bless the internet and e mail....

thats great mike! Im glad you found a motor!. With these tigers, its best to never give up. Mine sat for about a year before I found the parts needed. They are out there, but you are right. Thank God for the internet!

Man, we really need to get some kind of network going looking for Tigers and parts. I mean, if you think about it, EVERY single Tiger ever made is still out there somewhere waiting to be unearthed. Sorry Im going into Indiana Jones mode. Good job, Mike.

tmecars::: Lets just say I found it....... I actually found it here in Florida. I was at the local track and there were some Vintage Racer guys. One f the Guys had a Can Am and I was looking at the motor and explained how I wanted a motor and he said He had one and a few hundred bucks later I got it.. 1985 Rotax 250cc L/C
