OK, so I swapped out my coil and CDI. still no spark, Im thinking maybe the alternator is bad. If I pull the recoil starter, the lights light up a bit so I know that I am getting power down to the rectifier at least, but does the Red/Black wire that runs from the Alternator to the CDI have a specific value it should put out when turning? I don't think it is getting power. There are 4 wires to the alt. 1 green ground, 2 yellow that feed the rectifier and 1 red/black that appears to be a hot wire and feeds cdi. I dont know what values the ALT should put out. I was thinking around 100volt AC?
There is also the yellow blue wire that goes to the signal generator, but I dont have any idea how to test that either,.
unfortunately, the Clymers manual doesn't offer much help.
