I started the fenders back in the spring and never finished them. I bought the tank at the spring St Joe ride it had been spray painted red.I'm slowly fixing the one up for a rider.

Thanks everyone.... The rears had decent color but several deep scratches across the number pate area on both sides and heavy scratches along edges and boot area.i normally start with coarse sand paper just on the gouge or scratch areas till removed and work my way up to 1500 grit wet paper then buff with 3m buffing compound followed by a swirl remover polishing compound.

Makita rotary buffer ,with wool pad using the 3m buffing compound .i use

Man, those fenders look SIIIIIICK! They look like they have a coat of wet silicon just setting on them. Absolutely just dripping wet looking. You did a fantastic job! Kudos! Now..do mine! Do mine!

Wow looks great! I'm slowly building up the courage to try that myself. How many hours do you have in those plastics??

Beautiful! I have a perfect Maier rear fender that sat in the sun for 8 years. I'm going to try the Perfect It on it soon. Do you sand first? I have minial scratches, just need to get the pink out.
