Besides being pretty banged up (sorry popeye) it turned out pretty nice. Hope you like it.

Man it looks great. I knew it was in pretty bad shape, but I just couldn't see spending the money on another one and still having to get you to coat it lol. I've seen the inside of that thing spotless and it don't leak, so a few dents won't bother me. You've outdone yourself though man. It looks perfect. I can justify getting me some tank decals for it now. Thanks man.

Just run a good inline filter and you should be fine. I'll get it boxed up and in the mail in the next day or two.

Thanks again for giving me the chance to coat it.

Thanks Rory. It was pretty clean when it got to me popeye had done the vinegar water thing to it before he shipped it.. I let the air hose run in it for about ten minutes before I coated it and it really had no smell to it. I won't lie though it crossed my mind.lol

There's a product called labmetal its a metal bondo you could have filled the dents in with and then powder coat it I repair all my cases with it its some bad stuff but it cost to but it works

be carefull not to spill gas on it. PC doesn't get along with gas very well.

It can't be no worse than paint right? What would be the best option if not powdercoating? I had spray bombed it at first, but the humidity messed my primer up. Kinda figured I'd go all out on the tank because it's kinda like the show piece on a trike IMO. It might not be the first thing you notice, but if it's jacked up it will stand out like a sore thumb. I didn't realize how dented mine was until he PC'd it lol. I'm still amazed at how it came out. BKM does great work, but he's even a better person.

Yeh i powder coated my 250r tank a good 6 years ago now and with a clean looks darn near as good as the day i got it done.An ive spilt fuel over it many of times.

Good work on that to by the way looks real good. Its funny how ya never really notice dents etc untill they are coated lol.
