Well friday a friend hooked me up with a new project and a half. I got a 86 atc125 and a atc110 motor, frame, and tank.
The 110 motor happens to be in the 125 frame. The motor does run, but not sure how the trans is. I seem to have all the parts to the 125. The motor is complete and turns freely. Have the key pad with two keys. The tank, fenders, and exhaust are all in good shape.
So now do I clean up and try to restore the 125, or set it on the back burner for future plans?
The 110 motor is going into a 70 roller I have had sitting around for awhile.

It would be nice to make sure the 125 shifts correctly.
Odd that they took it out of the 125 frame.
May have been a good reason, maybe not.

Nice to know a 110 will fit in the 125.
My 125 broke the shift drum stopper right out of the case so
no way to fix it, threaded mounting boss included.

Someone had a bench test setup to run these things without having to put them in a frame first.

Sounds like fun either way.

The shift drum stopper can be fixed on that 125 even if it broke off the boss... I dealt with that once years back. I took it to a local welding shop and he cut a piece of round aluminum stock and welded it in place then i drilled and tapped the center of it for the bolt and put it back together. You do need to know the height of the boss, i luckily had the one that broke off but you could measure another one if you didn't. Then just lay the stopper on there and mark the hole location to drill and tap.

Well the 110 didn't line up with the rear sprocket on the 125 axle.
I have already started to mock-up the engine mount of the 110 motor into my 70 roller
