Hi guys I haven't posted anything about my 350x yet because i wasn't sure if I was going to keep it or not but yesterday was my first real ride on it. :w00t: I am in love with this bike I can't get over all the power and how nice it is to ride. Alittle about the bike it's has all the oem fenders that are crack free came with the oem skip plate, engine is good and strong doesn't burn a drop or dirty it quickly. the bad the frame was broken on the left side above the swing arm bolt didn't have working brakes, forks needed to be rebuild, right side fork cap has broken out flush with a the top, carb needed to be rebuild really bad, petcock doesn't work and some one has dropped there smoke on the seat a few times. All in all I am supper happy with the bike, the carb still isn't 100% but its working (to rick at ideal and everything is set back to stock)153398153399153400153401153402 I wont be fixing my 200x anytime soon.

Too true! I had 2 nice 84 200X's I thought I would never sell. After riding my 85 350X (and the 250R), the little X's started collecting a lot of dust... both are gone now. I ran out of storage space. I have an 86 350X project in the queue.

After all that riding following in Jason's dust I'm surprise it took this long to get bit. For me it was one trip to Ganny..
Glad to see you are in for a 350x now Aaron.

Its funny, Following in Myles' dust made me get bit for an R. Now I have a nice 86. Also, when i first rode my X i was like WOW. Now, not so much. But now that I got this R, there's my power!!!

They do rip! And have plenty of options to give them even more power. Some that are quick and easy and some that cost a bit.
I like the in between set ups that add power yet are still reliable. I love the 350X......

I love the 350X......
My X is never being sold. How can you beat all that power, in a nice sort of light reliable bike!

You know since owning a 350x which I also thought I didn't need at one time, my thoughts on an R have begun to change.
I had one last year and a few rides told me it was too much trike for me, I'm an old man and what do I need for this demon? I sold it..
But lately I find myself looking again at them, I saw one close to me last week on CL but instead bought my super clean 200m and passed the link onto my buddy Cord since it was close to him. Hopefully he goes for it, cause if he doesn't I may have to take another pass at it.
Also considering a TriZ since they are a lot alike and there seems more of them exists where I look..
My only problem is space, with fall here I will need the space in my shop to store my SeaDoo..I've even resorted to trailering trikes out my my parents for storage in their barn. It's really quite sad!
Anyway good on you Jason, I look forward to riding with you and watching you tame that animal. You definitely have more skilz than I!

mild c-r piston, mild grind cam, carb, exhaust. You can do the mods to get power and still have a reliable bike. They become unreliable when you start to stroke them and add higher compression piston and extreme gring cam's.

I would highly recommend spending more time on the 350x before getting another R. The one I picked up is ported, higher comp piston, and the head is shaved. Insane power, if it didn't have the extended swinger it would wheelie all the time.

Looks good! I recently rode Bretmd94s 350X in the dunes and it ripped. I had forgotten how fun the 350X is, I need one!
