I recently got a yt125 pretty much for free. I believe it is a 1981 from some research I've done. its in really good shape other than it has no compression. no broken plastic and the seat is in awesome condition. i ordered a piston kit for it and am honeing out the jug. hopefully i get it going. Here soon as i can't wait to ride it. im glad i found u guys cause this site is full of info. one question i do have is did they come with front shocks? because mine does. thank you Bill

The yt175 had front shocks, but the yt125 came stock with solid forks. If you have a 125 then someone changed the stocks.

Yeah last i herd you can still ride out there.i think riderplanetusa still post the scheduals and rules. haven't been there for a long time.

Nice trike Bill. If you want, you should check out OTC.myfastforum.org Cool racing for trikes in Ohio. At my first Harescramble, there was a Yamaha trike there. A 175 I think.
