My recent rescue..1984 ATC200M.

It was lost and forgotten in the back of someone's garage for the last 8 years, used very little before that.

Unfortunately the petcock was left open and the fuel has log since evaporated from the carb til the tank emptied..the carb is a sludge pot!!

The good is the physical condition..near perfect. Everything is present and best of all no indications of a handy Dan screwing with things..I love these in 'factory state' finds..

A new set of tires and some TLC and I got a beauty!!

Nah, if this one is beyond cleanup(which I doubt) then I have 2 parts machines in the shed.

NICE FIND! Looks like you need a front tire ,Here is a OEM front tire used but looks in good condition and I beleive it is the original OHTSU for your 200M. I seen 3 NOS tires eBay for your model , I will search for them . Here are the NOS OHTSU PRO AM tires original equipment for the 200M. pricey but they are discontinued. These are OEM for the 200ES BIG RED also

Actually found it not far from you Cord..got it from a guy in Macomb. It stayed on CL for about a month because the guy was so hard to reach..plus he wasn't one of those repeat posters.

I like those 225DR black..I'd go a long way for one as clean as this 200M!! Is she pretty?? Post a couple pics!



BTW, thanks guys for the cheers..I'll post some pics when it's all cleaned up!! Shouldn't take but a week or so depending on what I find when I dig into it.

My bad, I should have known that. Although those tires are i posted have the same tread pattern as the originals, they are actually 1984 ATC125M tires. I guess you can use the 1985 ATC250ES tires,when you order from honda that is the replacement tire they send you. The original tires on your bike now are discontinued.

Made the same mistake myself..by looking at them I thought I was looking at 22x11x8. They didn't look 25" big!! I thought I was gonna have to buy tires, but when I realized they were 25" and I have a full set in the shop that were take offs from my BR. Not OEM, but a luck break just the same.

Not great luck with them personally..

I took the carb off and cleaned 10 years of carb sludge out..runs like a champ!
