what do you guys use to cut down your plastic (fenders). Mine have cracks and I would like to clean them up a little without totally destroying them.--Joe 8)

First, use masking tape to get the desired shape right, then use a jig-saw to make the first cuts, and then a file or sandpaper to clean it up.

Thanks mobular, Ive been wanting to cut my front fender down for a while, I hate the way the original front fender looks on the '84/'85 tecates. Some day I'll just have to get an '86 or '87. :-P

I couldn't cut an orig. fender! How about buying a Maier and chopping it up?

The fender that I have is pretty rough( cracked, and lots of white spots) not to mention that maier doesnt offer ( at leastthat Ive seen) a red front fender or I would buy a complete set.---Joe
