I'm interested in this too. I know Sprock Racing made them a few years ago but he may have sold out. My only concern with a Z big bore would be the availability of pistons in the future.

i'm pretty sure the kit used an available piston. there was a thread a couple months ago saying he may be making some more, also.

I spoke with corey a few days ago and told him there may be a few guys wanting a tri z kit.He said right now he has to take care of financial obligations and doesn't have the cash to put up for making the kits. I mentioned maybe a preorder and he said "we have seen how that went in the past" so I think right now you will just have to wait it out until he is willing to make up some kits. His contact info can be found in the tecate group in the 84-85 cool head thread.

I have also talked to corey and what ben says is a 100% true, your just gonna have to wait.

I would prepay for 2 big bore kits if they would make em again. I'm also interested in finding a used one for my tri z.

I would prepay for 2 big bore kits if they would make em again. My reading comprehension skills are lacking at times, but I do believe that this part of the equation has already been discussed and is not the issue as far as the future of the Big Bore kits are concerned.

I highly doubt Sprock is the only guy on the planet who can do a big bore Tri-Z.

These guys say they build custom big bore kits? Don't know a ton about them but it's a lead

i comepletely understand where corey is coming from as far as pre order, i'm in no hurry anyways. but does anyone know if his kits are bolt on, or do the cases need modification? and even a rough ballpark price? you know, so a guy can start saving up?

My suggestion would be to call whatever machinist you're thinking of using. There's more than one way to skin a cat and I doubt any two guys do it the same exact way.

But he's not building any at the moment. so if Klemm will do it for $100 more hell go for it!
