So I made an impulse buy yesterday and decided I needed to rescue this trike! Its a 84 200ES, its pretty rough but seems to be mostly complete except it had no back wheels, I put these junkers on so I could move it around. I probably paid too much for it but it just looked like it needed a new home. LOL. Looks like I may have a new resto project after the 250R, havent decided yet if Im gonna part it out or not. But would like to restore it.154107

yeah, try not to part it out.
Doesn't seem to be much $ in it these days.
Parts are so cheap on ebay that I'd try to get it going.
You probably know but I usually see how they run and shift and then move on to the other'
projects.
Those are great machines and will tow and go anywhere.
Keep us posted.

So Im at my shop today looking at the 200 ES and started thinking about what I wanted to do with it. Im thinking of putting a complete different front end on it, maybe from a 200 X or 250 R, now I figure this is going to make the front end sit up high, so I might as well just go through the entire trike and do some more fab work and get the rear up a little bit higher too, put on some nasty mud tires, build a custom front rack with a winch (I saw somebody has already done that on here). Make it into a really nasty mud machine to hit the swamps with down here. Has anyone ever done this type of thing before? Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated, and yes even the negative ones, LOL.

Well I just seacrhed the forum and found a few lifted BR so I definatly think this is the route I will take with this one once the 250 R is complete. I did notice that all the lifted ones Ive seen are 85's, hopefully it wont be too difficult to do the 84.
