stator question

86 atc 350x. What/ how do i test a stator? My trike runs amazing but no power from the light side period

Try the search key and also see if you can click on
service manual

There's a way to simply check ohms and if you're lucky, you may be able
to capture the AC voltage output.
Easier with help and a non digital meter.

the engine needs to be spinning to get a voltage read.
