Felt sorry for the guy.
Completely disassembled, painted frame but they took the
right angle drive off to get the engine out which is almost impossible to get the
deep internal thrush washer back lined up.

No carb but good gas tank.
no plastics or seat or wheels/tires.

so I guess I bought a gas tank for 90 bucks and a bunch of cables
and misc brake parts.
Found a key but no ignition switch yet.
Left headlight switch looks good but would love to find the levers and perches.

Swing arm bearings feel good but not sure about the
ring and pinion gears set.

They did a great job on powdercoating the frame ELECTRIC BLUE, but who knows what chemicals
were used in making this machine 'better'.

I've walked a few guys through that. Once you pull the right case cover and the kicker mechanism you can get a magnet in there.

The thrust washer that falls off is one issue, another is that each gear is put in the correct orientation; The oil holes have to line up with the mating bushing/gear etc etc.

No washer, bye bye 1st gear.

Installed incorrectly, tranny goes bye bye :D

I remember you saying that a few times in the past.
I'm happy with a true parts engine. Stator's prob ok
but entirely too much work to reassemble.
I'd rather get a known working runner and refurbish as time and $ permit.

But who am I kidding?
I get them running flawlessly and leave 'em dirty and use them.
