Xr600 got a little brother this week

1990 XR80r. I got this for my daughter to learn to use a clutch. I cleaned it up, changed the oil, cleaned the carb, and it runs great. Needs some brake shoes and chain adjusters to function properly, then some cosmetics later. I had a 1976 XR75 as a kid, and this brings back lots o' memories! Not bad for $300

sweet!! my first bike was an 86 i think xr80, loved it!! bought it brand new as a leftover i think for around a grand?? paid half in paper route money, my dad paid for the other half!! thinking about it just brought a nice flood of memories back from that day! i could almost smell the new bikes and rubber for a second there ! Awsome. I hope she enjoys it!! My 80 is still in the family, i hope to get it back some day!! It is mint!! Thats how i kept it!! you do that when you got to pony up your own money for stuff, even if it was just half! Now that i think of it, i think i got all A's on my report card that year, thats why my dad took me!

i tell ya, i have an 03 xr100, and that 86 xr80 would put it to shame!!

there is a sweet 1990 xr6 for sale by me, has a street title, i was tempted to pull the trigger, but i gotta sell the xl200 first. Guy wanted a grand, was probably worht every penny!! Someday i will get the 89 back on 2 wheels!

Very nice pair. I had an 04 CRF80, basically the same. I'm more of a 70 guy these days though. lol.
