I've been reading all morning, but not having much luck so if you know off the top your head I have several questions. i'm trying to gain some knowledge. Sorry no pics yet, it's sitting in my garage and I won't be able to get pics for couple days.

Found answer to this question. :)

On 86 Tecate 3 besides stickers how do you tell Cal-Fab vs stocker- does anyone have length measurement for a stock swingarm handy?

How valuable is Durablue extended axle, that was for the Tecate 3

Has anyone heard something about when the Tecate was new if you were factory sponsered , or had access to factory race setup stuff, that the trike had to sit at the dealership on display, and did they automatically change out to maier low profile fenders when they did that?

Orginal Maier number plate- value?

Thanks for opinions and pics.

Touch a magnet to your swingarm. Cal Fabs are aluminum : ). The fenders, axle,,are all valuable,,not gold,,but def valuable. Sounds like you've got a real nice racer that has some stories there! Kawi had a LOT,,I mean a LOT of sponsorship programs late 85 when that would have been released. What you're asking would have been dealer specific about the sponsor. Can't wait for pics!!

The fenders, axle,,are all valuable,,not goldso says the honda guy! lol A calfab swinger will only have 4 bolt holes for the axle housing and has a long bridge looking mount for the suspension strut,I have seen used durablues go for around 500.00 but since someone wanted one and had enough $$ to have another few made I think the value has gone down a bit.

a calfab is a pretty easy spot once you know what to look for.
