350X Broke Frame

After the new clutch, I found a crack all the way thru the frame. I can weld but, Im used to thicker metal. I thought about welding it and then collar it with a larger piece of pipe. I remember seeing some gusset work done here. Looking for the best idea. Thanxs

Mine did the same thing and they welded it trailprotrailpro I bought it. Looks like it happened a while ago

They all do it. I believe later 85 were reinforced and 86 frames a little more.

I had my 85 reinforced by TPC trikes because I'm a bogger welder.

I said f'it and welded it, took it around the yard and a few jumps and shes holding. I'll have to give it some attention this winter.
