need help finding a part

i need help finding a part that is discontinued.its an oil seal part number 93101-26117-00 for a 1984 yamaha ytm225.

A good place to try is yamaha speed and sport in Pennsylvania. They have a pretty good inventory of older parts.

Have you taken the seal out yet? You may be able to find the seal by size. Typically there are 3 numbers on the outside face of the seal. something like 45 25 7 That is the size of the seal. If you can get me those numbers I'll see what I can do to find one for you. ;)

Otherwise you'll have to measure the O.D. of the shaft, the O.D. of the seal, and the thickness of the seal.

I think their ebay name is yamahatopdog or something really close to that. They sure do run across some neat stuff. They've gotten many $ from the Vealmonkey and they will do so again. Great bunch of people. I personally recommend them.
