350x axle same as 300ex axle?

Is a 350x axle the same as a 300ex?From the research the sprocket holders are different.This another one of those things.Another thing is a problem with the brake caliper on a 85.I know the hubs are different.Some say yes and some no.

call you dealer and ask them if the axle part # are the same..... but i doubt it... good luck
