atc 185s inner coil help!

This question is for a friend.. he needs a new "inner coil".. thats what he called it, under the fly wheel. Is there another name for the part? Having troubles finding one

Exciter coil more than likely, or a lighting coil. The lighting coil is for lighting of course.

How is the quality on those $20 ebay stators? I don't need one yet, but may in the future.
