Does anyone know of a brand of grips to buy so that I could still use the bar weights on the handlebars of my 200X??? Most of the grips I see do not have the hole that allows that bar weight to attach. What do you guys use???

if you really want to use the grips ends, you can cut the ends out, or check here:http://www.rockymountainatv.com/wc.dll?wwrmatv~products~0003520004and search for "grips"

I use SCOTT Hurricane grips. I just cut a hole in the end, then screw the screw through it. I lost one of my factory ends, and bought blue ones to match my grips from Dennis Kirk. I just had to replace the bolts, as they used a rubber hose on the inside to 'attach' them, as the stock HONDA bar has that threaded piece welded inside. I just exchanged the screws for ones that were metric to screw right into the handlebar ends. The end kit from Dennis Kirk even had a tool to 'cut' the grip with. But I never did figure out how to use it. (I had already put the grips on the bars! )

Your best bet it to just cut a hole in the end.

What do those things do?? I've never had them on any ATC I've had and so far I've gotten along ok without them. This is the first time I've seen that thing so Im curious about it. As for grips, I use the ProGrip gel grips, they feel great and really cut down on hand fatigue from vibration, big improvement over the Renthal grips I had on there before.

all they do is prevent dirt and crap from getting in the ends of the bars like when you flip or anything. there really pointless...its not gonna make a difference if you have them or not....the only ones i have seen that really do anything are these aftermarket ones that are like 1/2 foot long and they go inside the bar and reduce vibration

actually, they have a purpose. If you ride hard, and like to hang off the edge of your trike, you will eventually tear the ends off a rubber grip. It has happend to me many times riding my old school R, before the rebuild. I solved the problem and was really happy with the addition of a snowmobile bar hook on the clutch side. Pretty trick looking and works great. I can really get out there now. I love it. I will probably add hooks to all my trikes.
