When I bought this R, the carrier was trashed. I took everything apart, and getting the carrier out was a complete pita. I had made the assumption it was from all the dirt in there. I cleaned everything up, went to put the old carrier in just as a check, and it seems to be out of round the tiniest bit, i can get the carrier in ( with a block of wood and a hammer ) but it has so much friction you cannot adjust it. My question is, how the F did this happen, and how do you go about fixing something like this?
I've read of people using a pipe expander... but I cannot see that working.
My caliper reads about .10-.20mm out of round.
The swingarm is a plus 3 supposedly durablue ( I highly doubt it ) swingarm.

if needed I can take pictures of exactly where it is out of round. I don't have one of it off the bike.
