I got a chevy van 2003 a/c drier and gutted it out and did some fittings on it made 2 brackets and bolted it to one of the upper rear engine mounts. I will try to post more pics later. Used original motor mounts just cut them and refit them.. Airbox snorkel mounted perfect on 400 carb..the DG Oval exhaust is from a 400 had to cut off a 1/4 inch of the end of header and pretty much bolts right up to frame with minor hand bending...you guys prob can see my pics in the 350x group pics...

Also the block has a mount in rear of block that you need to drill out dont worry i already ran the risk for you guys you wont leak oil or damage anything! You need that mount to bolt bottom rear to frame with 2 flanges with tube spacers... I hope all this info helps some of you guys do the swap!

How about the electrical? I don't know a lot about the 400ex sadly. Should be interesting to have one on a 350x farme, or even a 250x (quad) frame with a bit more work.

Use 400 electrical and if you run it right you wont have any extra wiring and everything falls right in place.. You will put battery where tool box use to go.. I put my voltage regulator in my 350x stock airbox my cdi goes where 350x cdi went and 400 coil where 350 coil was...

Sounds like if it is done right, everything will end up looking stock :). Now I have to watch out for a wrecked 400ex for cheap lol.
