3 1/2 hrs each way and I came home with this 86 KLT 185. Machine is in very good cosmetic condition. Normal scratching on rear fender & both mud flaps have cracks from backing into something. Started first pull when I got there. I'm sure he started it before I got there but gotta love that just the same. Shifts great through all the gears and reverse. Does have a "knock" during idle. Piston slap or crank bearings? None the less happy with the purchase. Will be a great example when I start redoing my other one (black). Most decals are in great condition (will help blue27 get excellent examples for my repo's!) no trunk decal though. Also came with owners manual & off road safety booklet. Nice little additions.Anyway just thought I'd share!

Nice looking KLT! Wish I could find one that is that nice I would love to have another especially since mine is more a pile of parts than a 3 wheeler at the moment  I also noticed your owners manual is for a Bayou 185, I know they are similar, so I'd assume then that it is basically the same manual as the KLT 185 owners manual?

Good catch on the manual, never even noticed. Not the same, it is only for the KLF. :(I do have a klt185 manual I bought off eBay awhile back though.
