We had a little snow and I'm just pumped to be smelling the 2 stroke in the cold air. Just wondering who's just as pumped as me! Lol

We had no snow at all to speak of in my area last winter..
Guys were giving their sleds away. I got the bug again for 1st time in 15 years and bought a couple snow toys.
All the Skidoo dealers are overstocked with all last years accessories and selling the non-current stuff off cheap. Got a crazy deal on all the gear (helmet, coat, gloves, bibs..)..this is great year to get back into it. There are deals to be had..
Now let's just add some snow.!!

as soon as we get snow, just wished my sled looked like this still. unfortunately a hidden stump and some power slides/roles she don't look so hot, still runs like a champ though.

Be careful riding without a solid base doug! Tracks aren't cheap. We only got about an inch where I was. Was fun with the R though

No harm done, we just went out for an hour or so on this field on the back end of the ball diamond..no rough stuff!
A good bit more snow in the areas between us Jason like 10", I just couldn't see myself thru to spend more time driving than riding that day. I settled for this little bit close to home to hold off the itchy feeling!!
Good light ride and test run for this sled that has been sitting in storage for the better part of 5 years. Carbs cleaned, fresh gas and complete greasing and it's great..
Now I know it's ready for some real snow!! Bring it!

Got my 99 Mach-Z out of the garage and washed it last weekend... I kind of lost interest after last years short winter and high fuel prices. But I have to admit, that ol' triple/triple does sing a pretty tune!! Might get it out this year

I hate northern minnesota. We havent gotten any snow besides the 1-3 inches crap. I dont want snow inless its a foot plus! Probly will be selling off my 2000 zr 600 for an atc 250r soon just because i hate having to rely on weather to determine if im riding or not.

That certainly IS the major downside of snowmobiling for many of us that don't live in AK.... When you look at it that way, it really makes the prices for brand new sleds nowadays that much more ridiculous IMHO.
I mean really... 12G for a brand new 800??!! I remember when the biggest/fastest were 8G brand new.. Bout 1G per 100cc of displacement. Now, 8G barely gets you a descent 600.
Well we got out Saturday for a nice ride!! but the 07 800 motor is now on the bench again!!!!! What the hell!! fryed a mag side piston in 1000ft...to the bottom of it tommrow!! :wondering

Dang, that's not going to be cheap.... Crank, cylinder and piston...
Where going to talk to the dealer that installed it last, see if anything can be done i have the one before this in a box also...if not perhaps its time to build something nasty?

Honestly, it does suck, i have to buy old sleds like 8-12 years old.. This winter im going to try to get into snowmobile racing and if i like it i will be upgrading to a 2002 CCE zr 600 EFI APV for racing. Im in the downside with no powervalves and not having adjustable shocks.

ME NEITHER !!!!!!!!!! So damn SICK of this heat and humidity!! Not looking forward to the heating bills though... Thinking about putting in a Geothermal redneck style. 55 degrees is a damn good start when it's -5 outside.
We put some miles on this year...bout time and no Blown motors!!! after digging further into the 07 summit..i found the oil pump was set too lean, and having consistint pumping issues...the clutch was set too high...What a mess, the 600 should be doo for some new pistons next season after the BAGGING it got this year, and my 02 800 summit Just aint got enough Balls to keep up with the Big dawgs on the hills  Im moving to arizona,,,:lol::beer
