I bought one of these and i cant get it to fit anywere on my bike :evil: \

Hahahahahha, then what did you buy it for if you dont know what it is?

Anyways....it goes on your front brake master cylinder......you know, on the handlebars....the lever you pull for front brakes, LOL, the part you take the cap off and fill with brake fluid ;)It won't fit there smart@ss . :D

thats definately a front master cylinder guard. If it's anything like a Honda's you use the bolt that the lever pivots around, and one of the ones that clamps the master cylinder/brake lever to the handle bars.

It will fit. Just scratch your head a little and figure it out.

I have seen those on a TRI Z. One of the holes fits into the top bolt on on the lever clamp. This is the clamp that holds the lever to the bars.

Yeah that goes over the master cylinder on the handlebars, maybe the person who owned the tri-z before you, put a different master cylinder/lever on the bike, and that is why it might not fit.

it wont fit :evil: it dont even come close to the bolts and it's to small to fit around the master cylinder on the handle bars.

It's either the wrong cover, or you have a different master cylinder on the handlebars.

does anyone have a pic of the factory master cylinder for a 85 tri-z? I want to see if i have the right one.

I remember when I put one of those covers on my Z it took a little finesse to get it on there. Most of those are a one size fits all, like 250r's, 350/200x's.

I'll have to try again i guess. I tryed putting it on in the dark so that don't help much.

Yes, it covers the front master cylinder reservoir on the handle bar! :D I have one on my Z too. It's a pain to get on an off. There's kind of an art to it. Trying to remember, seems like I have to let the bolts actually pull it down into position. Instead of placing it in the right location and simply dropping the bolts in.
