Who makes a good set of aftermarket Bars for trikes i bought moose cuz someone said they were only ones that fit and 2 years later there faded and rusting and i keep the bike inside except ice racing so there must be a better option that fits the wide clamps ???

I thinkI have a Oldskool Aluminum handlebars at the shop if your interested ( I think they are the wide clamp style ). Another option would be to have the ones you have powder coated.

I have a set of fly bars on my 200X, They crumpled when I slammed into a tree a couple weeks ago (Rear tire slipped while sliding around a berm and it hit a tree). Got some 1 3/8" Easton EXP bars on the way with 7/8" adapters/ 1" risers, Hopefully these won't bend as easily as the crap steel bars

i've got a pair of tusk aluminum "atv bend" bars on my tri z, cost me about $30 from rocky mnt. atv. not as strong as renthals i'm sure, but they look and fit good, and are comfortable.

Ya have to be careful with aftermarket bars like Tusk/Moose etc.

The outside bend is into the outer surface area of the mount. What can happen is because they are not on the same plain, they can crack and snap right off at that point. If people have that issue they need to round those outside upper clamps until they do not contact that area.

If anyone doesn't understand this, just kneel down at your grip heights and look at your outer mounting point and you will see a gap at the outer area.

Thats why I only run Pro Tapers with the adapters. The ATV and CR high work great for me but I do get a price break from one of the guys on the boards, so it's easier on the wallet.

I got pro taper atv mid. I like them for trail riding there taller than stock. My other 250R has older CR low bend Renthal. They feel uncomfortably wide but people like them for racing cuz there low.

I could take a pic of my SX to show this. I stuffed it away years ago. They just aren't "straight" past the clamps, then bend up. The bend is in the outer edge.
It's because trike upper triple clamp bar mounts are fairly far apart.......
