I was thinking of putting cr 250r forks on my 85r. anybody know what year forks I need to fit into the triple trees and how to get the brake caliper to line up. Next year I want to do more mx on my atc and the stockers w/ progressive springs aren't doing it. Anybody got a mugen or flat track kit for sale, could save alot of fabbing?

if i remember right i think i read something about the tripples in the 250r were smaller then the CR forks.
I bought some triple clamps for an '89 CR 250. I then had a machine shop cut the ends off of them and the ends of my trikes. They then welded the CR ends on. I now have inverted forks. They are great to jump with. I am however still working on a front brake.

Nice. I had to do something similar. It must handle smooth.
