Popular Mods for ATC's

[1982-Honda-185S]

I'm new here obviously if im posting in here but what are some popular mods done to these ATC's? I have a '82 185S and would like to get more punch out of the motor and some better style to it. what have you done to yours?

welcome, it depends an you .. some people put the 83 185s front suspension on and a few buy a rare rear swing arm set-up.. just for beginners i would say maybe a performance exhaust and maybe a performance cam and such... good luck with your project..

Honestly, with the cost of the mods to get more power out of a non suspended 185S, you could sell it spend a couple hundred more and get an 83-85 200X and not have to molest anything to have a faster, more comfy ride.

When I joined this site I had 1 200s. I dumped it, bought a couple more, flipped them then kept putting the profits I made into other trikes. By buying, repairing, and re-selling roughly 15 other trikes. I now have 6 trikes without putting much extra into it but time and my initial investment.

Yea, I agree. We had over 100 of them at one time. We are down to 50-55 of them now. Trying to fix up and sell a few ( like 20-25 of them ) right now. The 40 x 64 barn seemed like it had plenty of room until we started buying 4-10 of them a week. Now I have them stacked 7-9 high in one area.

LMAO, That's not the first time I have heard that. There is other goodies that I have collected over the years. Some goodies very few people know I have and even less people have seen them. It's my retirement plan. LOL
