83/84 suzuki alt 50 trail buddy

hey guys need some help new to this forum handed down through the family i recieved this alt 50 trail buddy tryed startig it but theres no spark it used to run but a piece of the flywheel broke off and jammed it and stoped it had the flywheel pulled and got broken peice out but now it wont start theres no spark cansome help thanks three wheeles

Hey guys, I need some help. I am new to this forum. Handed down through the family, I recieved this alt 50 trail buddy. I tried starting it but there is no spark. It used to run, but a piece of the flywheel broke off, jammed it, and stopped it. I had the flywheel pulled and got the broken piece out, but now it wont start. There is no spark. can someone help?

I fixed it to where it is easier to read.

If a piece of the fly wheel broke off, I would start by buying a new fly wheel. The one that has a broken off piece is no longer in perfect balance.

How long ago did it run before this happened?
