Hello
I'm Yair and I recently bought a ATC 200e Big Red '83 with some work.
I was searching for information and found this forum.
I hope that you can give me some tips and tricks.
Regards,
Yair

Welcome Yair! I have two '83 ATC 200E's. They're great machines, but I have to admit I'd like to get the '84 200ES with reverse. Hey, how common are trikes in Europe? Are they hard to find for sale there? Just curious...
Thanks for all the reactions!
I asked on a ATV forum a ride for my dad (I have an Ozark 250) so we can ride together.
I've been to circuit du ravin in Hesdin, France and that was to big to ride in my own so.
I got a PM from a guy who had a trike from '83 he said and I got a picture from him, did
some research and found out that it was a Honda ATC 200e Big Red '83.
I got interested and was looking for parts on dutch secondhand sites, guess what?
Nothing.... no parts, no Big Reds. Only 1 Tecate in parts and a 125cc and 50cc Honda. So
they are not very common in the Netherlands.
But if you restore them they go for around €2000-3000.
@rayatc84, are there French sites with parts for ATC's?

Yaïr

Check the French 3wheelers website www.passion-atc.com and mainly his shop http://shop.passion-atc.com/catalog/index.php
You can also look on www.leboncoin.fr, where there are some 3wheelers but very rarely parts.

Thanks for the links.
I can pick mine up this monday and I will post some pictures of it.
I picked up the ATC today, starts in one pull. The electronic starter doesn't work because of a dead battery, I'm charging it now and hopefully it wil start electric once it's full.
Little things has to be done to it.
It needs:
Rear/front brake shoes
Rear brake cable
Left headlight reflector
A piece of the dashboard, don't know the english word of it.
New oil
New airfilter, Is it possible to place a K&N air filter in it?
Valve adjusting
New storage box it
Overall I'm very happy with the ATC.

Nice clean trike you got there Yair. I'm sure your dad will enjoy it! Who knows, maybe you'll end up keeping it - then you'll have to buy him another one! Ha ha
