You maybe able to use the 2" spacers that they sell for quads to increase the spring tension. This requires disassembly of the shock. They are basically 2" thick aluminum rings. You must compress the spring to install them. They are cheap on eBay as for the front forks- a heavier fluid and more fluid added to the tubes would stiffen the suspension up for sure. I'm 240 and 6'3" so I'm right there with you!

Only 250lbs? I haven't seen 250 in a while...

My 350X has Progressive springs in the front, stock in the back with the preload cranked up. Works fine for dune and trail riding. If I was racing, I would look into a custom shock/spring combo.

Honda Foreman 500 2" Lift Kit #00 (search this on eBay) I used one of these on my 85 Big Red. I wrote the guy and asked if he'd sell me just one. He said no problem. They are just 2" alum rings. You may want to measure the diameter of the spring since it rests on the ring once installed. I see no reason why you couldn't go buy some metal pipe and cut your own spacer. If I'm not mistaken your 350X has a fully adjustable rear shock. Maybe you just need a couple inch lift. Look at my page there's a pic of a universal lift bracket that I got for almost nothing. There's a pic of it installed and I also reference the name of the seller on eBay.
