I got an impact wrench now, do I have to take the clutch basket off in order to take off the crank seal retainer. I noticed it in my manual, and just wanted to now if I had to take the clutch basket off to replace my right crank seal?
Yessir I do believe you do Have to take off the clutch basket. One tip for you though, when you go to pry the seal out, take a long ass flat screwdriver, stick in there flat, and turn it either way, this will force it out a lot easier than trying to pry it out. I wasted 10 minutes trying to pry mine out with no luck, but the way I told to do it I popped it out in 10 seconds. Later dude

I was told to drill holes in it, across from each other, and put sheet metal screws in, and pull it out. Where do you put the screwdriver at, between the seal and the case, or or on the inside between the crank arm and seal?
I put it between the bearing and the seal and popped it out like that. Never heard of the sheet metal method!

How do I re- install the new crank seal? A large socket and hammer?
Yep, grease the outside with some oil or something so it doesn't bind.
