86 Atc 250r gearing

hi, i have a 86 atc 250r, its been fully rebuilt, fmf pipe, and silencer ( not sure if i want a esr silencer or not ), has boyesen reeds, ( going to vforce 3 reed block), also has a air striker 38mm carb, also plan on getting it ported and polished, but before the porting and polishing, i was considering a 14-39 gear ratio? do you think thats a good idea? it has endless tourque now, so 14-39 i wont loose to much tourque right? and will speed even be noticable? thanks guys... BTW i have a 13-39 ratio NOW

Do you use it for trail riding? I would go with a boysen rad valve for play riding, but thats just my personal preference. I use the v-force in my drag motors, but find the rad valve works better in play motors. 14-38 with 20" tire should work ok

i do do trail riding, but right now the tourque seems endless lol. i was thinking 14-38 and do you know how much speed id gain? and yes 20 inch tires and yes i have boyesen power reeds
