Yamaha 200E starts but no power?? HELP!?!?!?

Just got a 200ERN for 200 dollars, the trike starts fine but barely has enough power to move itself forward. Im thinking maybe the carb bu i dont know a whole lot any help with this would be awesome... anyone else have a similiar probem??? thanks

I have a couple questions for you before I can give you some solutions. Does it throttle up in neutral, when you put it in gear does it seem like not enough fuel or not wanting to move and stalling. It could be a couple easy solutions, did you change the oil when first bought it? have you cleaned the carb fuel tank or changed the fuel lines?
