Hi all. Well, I've always wanted a 3-wheeler to mess with around the farm, and having bought a 40-acre farm this past fall, it was time to get a 3-wheeler. I just bought a 1983 yamahauler. All original, needs a good cleaning and some new tires, but runs and operates perfectly. Looking forward to putting around the farm and hitting a few trails up north. Also looking forward to getting to know some of you all and learning about these machines so I can keep this one running for a good long time. Also, in the process of getting a Honda 3-wheeler with reverse. His and hers, I suppose. =) Time to look for a prior thread about what oil to use in the Yamaha engine and rear end as well as HOW to change both, and any filter there. I know it's been asked before, I'm sure, but for not too aggressive riding, would a mud-type tire work on the front end? Sounds odd, but I'd like a little beefier looking tread pattern than the knobby....
Glad I found this site!
