Hi my name is matt, I've been a mechanic at a yamaha, kawi, and polaris dealership for the past 5.5 years, so I have plenty of incite on factory and accessory parts, I'm always willing to help with any questions or part compatibility. Im 24 years old and have owned 30 powersports toys and 8 cars/truck so far and currently have 13 projects to keep me busy.
The best way to get to know me is watching my youtube vids, I love recording the things I do If I remember to start the camera lol

I'm into snowmobiling, vintage and new Polaris and yamaha, standup and x2 jet skiing Kawasaki 2 strokes(props if you know what an x2 is), some bike stuff, Nissan 240's and of course 3 wheelers, Mostly yamaha's. I know quite a bit about zingers and 225's, as i have done a lot of mechanical work to them and part swapping. i also know about the 125/175s. I use alot of discarded parts from my dealership to make my toys more interesting.
my 225 has an HID wired up, and a jet ski bilge hose setup to keep oil out of the air box and in the motor while wheeliing (FYI 225s have super low oil pressure in general and DONT MAKE ANY OIL PRESSURE AT WHEELIE POSITION) I have a KX65 pipe im going to be working on fitting on one of my zingers. i have a Frankenstein 79 yamaha exciter 440 with a junkyard engine with 80psi compression, psi single race pipe, polaris xlt seat, ZX6 led taillight, dual fog lights for the headlight, and a hood that opens sideways. My jetskis have a ton of parts from differant skis on them and yet my 750 standup is faster (and currently cheaper) than a sxr and superjet. That should be enough about me, Any question feel free to ask!

Im in Iola and also new to the site. I just picked up an 85 225DR this weekend. I'd be interested in any info you can give on the HID headlight. Im also looking for a new carb body as the one I have has a bad idle jet hole.
Thanks, Jason
