View Full Version : Hello from the Granite State

Hey everyone! George here in New Hampshire just saying hi. My cousin just gave me an ATC200s which I look forward to fixing up so I'm glad I found this site! my dad worked at a junkyard and found a Honda Trail50 mini bike which he gave me at the age of 5. From there he build me a trike from a Yami dirt bike with a regeared riding mower rear end.[That was about thirty years ago and I don't remember the specifics.] I also played around with some other mini bikes and riding mowers. I then bought a Kawi KX80 from some kid who got it impounded for riding on the street...his mom said its got to go. picked it up for $50 and put a clutch caple on it. After that my Grandpa gave me his old bombadier sled that he had retired from trapping duty. I had alot of fun with that between carb rebuilds! Some of my fondest memories though come from riding trails and in the sand pit with my dad on owe trike. He had a 200x and I had a 125m followed by a 200x. Along with my current 200s project I have my eye on an '85 250es which I plan to purchase when my taxes come in...should be this weekend. I'm hoping to learn alot and make some new friends here. Welcome....now I'd love to see some pics of the cobbled up trike made from the dirt bike and mower rear end!

Welcome Mooseknuckle to the addiction! Myself and a bunch of guys from here ride in NH quite a bit: Richmond paper trails, Pisqah State Park, and others in winter. BE sure to check out this thread when you gain full-access: http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php/133850-New-England-Ride

Perhaps you can join us for a couple ride this year. You will need that 250ES for most of the trails we ride.

That would be great! I've got to call the guy tomorrow to check it out, i hope its ready for the trails as is
