Bundy Hill off road park has always been a great host to our 3 wheeler Trike Circus. While speaking with the owner about this years trike circus I asked if there was anything that we could do to repay them. She said that on March 9th they could use some help getting ready for the opening weekend one week later. I will be heading up there for the day to help clean up the park and make any needed repairs. If you can make it out on the 9th of March it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Rich!:welcome:

For the peaple that has been there know the park is pretty big, do we bring a trike to get around? Are they going to supply the equipment to use to clean up?

I plan on bringing some 5 gallon pails (I have lots of them) and a broom handle with a nail in the end to spear debris with.
Oh yeah,,, bringing Bigred too. Depending on weather Liway will join up (I will bribe her if nothing else works).
I am on service call that week end but no office duties so any calls I get I ought be able to put off till the day is done.
I will pass along the invite to Dan + Amy + any other interested folks.

Finally talked to mike the owner and he asks that we bring along some tools for clearing trails like lopers, saws, chainsaws etc.
This is next weekend!

Good. I will bring the small company chain saw (16 inch bar) + a set of all you mentioned Rich.
Putting my new tires/rims on the trailer and dropping snow plow off Liways Polaris today. Probably start putting "stuff" in the van today as well.
By the weather report (if some what correct out that far), should be a nice day to work outside (as in not freezing cold).

What is a loper??? never heard of that, lol. I don't own any chainsaws (can't ride them, lol) but I do own a hand saw. Booked the weekend off, so the Mrs. and I will be in attendance. What time is this party starting?

I was thinking of making the trip down for the day, but yesterday those plans changed. My wife slipped on some ice and broke her arm in three places. She has to go to the orthopedic doctor on Tuesday to see if it can just be put black in place or needs surgery. Right now it is in a splint.

Loppers: long handled tree branch trimmers...

I'm assuming we should bring a trike to get around the place, right? I've got loppers and pruners, but no chainsaw. I think I've got a hatchet somewhere. If we'll be clearing trees off the trail the chainsaw will be the most important.

I'm planning on being there too, so I'll look for you guys at 9.

A huge thanks to everyone that came out to help today! It was a lot of fun for being work, I wish my day job was more like that! Most of all today was a success and we made a great impression with the folks at Bundy Hill! I think that this will have to become an annual event!

Slightly off topic, but what kind of place is Bundy Hill? Is it mostly trails or mostly hills or a combination? We're interested in going later this year and doing some trail riding and was wondering what it was like. We seen the web site but some input from guys that have been there would be helpful. We're hoping there's a bunch of trails to explore and make a day of it, or Maybe 2 days. Thanks for any info.

It's hard to explain but Bundy Hill is an operating gravel pit during the week and an off road park on the weekends. They have trails that will take an hour or so to navigate and plenty of open areas and hills to play on. That best I can tell you is to do a search on YouTube there are tons of videos from that place. I have ridden trails all over and although Bundy hills trails aren't extensive it is a very fun place to ride with your friends and family! I hope this helps! Come on down on June 1st for the Trike Circus, see the thread for this event in this section of the forums!

We'll be racing June 1st but we'll definitely make it on the Sunday of Memorial weekend. It sounds like a good time and it's only a couple of hours from home. It'll be nice to get our 3 wheelers out to someplace new. Thanks for the info!
