I would just fill it with gas. No experience with fuel stabilizers or anything, but empty tanks rust, full ones don't.

Put it on blocks to keep the tires from flat spotting, remove the battery and put it on a wooden shelf(battery tender if you have one), fill the tank, shut off the petcock for sure!!, and change the oil and diff fluid, remove the brake drums and clean the shoes with brake cleaner, clean and lube the cables & brake pivots, then spray all the exposed metal and fasteners with a good coat of WD40
That is my long term storage regiment.

Keep it full of gas and let it sit.. 3-4 months is not very long..

A lot of my old 70's dirt bike owners manuals tell you to drain the tank, remove, pour some light weight motor oil in the tank and shake around. I've done it a few times when storing for long periods and it works great. But I agree, 3-4 months isnt that long. Wouldn't hurt though.

drain the gas put some 2 stroke oil in it shake it around. if you have a full tank of gas and there is water in it the bottom the corners well rust where they all do.
