By looking at your 2nd pic, the sx had a weld on kit on it? My Nic 500 had a "bolt on" kit and it was rather complicated taking it back off. I can't imagine how many quad kits were sold, but it seems like it was alot. Quad kits actually kept alot of small time racers going once the AMA disallowed trikes.
