1989 LT500R Quadzilla - $1800 - Good Deal?

This guy seems real desperate to sell and I believe I could get this for $1800 (he emailed me saying he'd take $2000 so I'm sure if I showed up with $1800 in cash he'd take it). I don't know too much about Quadzilla's but have always wanted one... this is the first I've seen in my area for around the 2k mark. Providing it's mechanically sound, is this a good deal?

Is white plastic an option on the Quadracers? I've seen several that were all white. I'd love to own a big bore two stroke such as the Quadracer! Maybe someday :)

Cylinder is blasted because they like to hairline around the cylinder base nuts. Be very careful looking it over mechanically. Flywheels come apart exactly like Tecates. Cranks go bad rarely. Pistons like to crack on intake side. Best you can do is Know what you're listening too at idle.And compression test it. Pretty good deal at a glance though for sure. Check the frame in under the rear of the engine for repairs,cracks,,A arms too..Just look it over really good!! They are a beastly machine!

Yellow only, Any other flavor is Maier. Sexiest quad ever tied with the the 88 R.. IMHO...
