Looks like it's the closest thing to the ULTIMATE factory 86 ATC500R you will ever see or even ride. Looks like a PRO did the conversion. The geometry looks right too. Plus with the CR link I bet its real tight. I'll bet it's real fun to ride since you don't have to deal with the vibration issues. Replace that shity OEM ignition with a new style digital type that will make a big difference. But.....If you really want to be........ "untouchable"........, put a 85 CR engine in it and bye............

ANd it's still for sale. As most of Ebay auctions,,he never got paid a dime. It is still for sale. I considered it,,but jut not my cup of tea I guess.

Probobly cost between 6 and 7 grand to build one today. What would a custom pipe cost like that? $500.00?

I was talking with him. It did NOT sell. He emailed me today.The bidders,,,,as often happens,,,would not pay. The 500 is still for sale.

I'd guess a good pipe around $900. the one on my 500 was $800 used...

im confused :wondering. Its a CR frame but the rake of the front looks pretty damned close to the ATC's??? Also im guessing the bolt on rear sub frame is custom and the swinger of course. Swinger looks awful narrow. Also are those oem CR triples?

Either way its incredible!

It looks like at least the triples and the swingarm are from Laeger's 500 conversion.. There are some similarities in the subframe..
