85 200m top end interchangeable with 84 200x bottom?

Hey everyone just a quick question. I know it probably doesn't make much sense but i'm just wondering. Does anyone know if an 85 200m top end will swap with a 84 200x bottom? Also if they do can I use my 200M piston or is the 200x the same size?

they will interchange, but the 200m has a compression release lever on the rocker that the 200x does not. Also, the 200m piston is 8.5:1 compression, where the 200x is 10:1, so you'd lose a little horsepower if you did the swap.

Yea I knew there was compression loss so that's i figured people would ask why.. but thank you! Just the answer I was looking for.
