I know I can supposedly do it with a punch and hammer, but as rust bound as the hubs were (had to beat the originals off the original axle) I fear I might destroy them via the hammer and punch method. I plan to switch to the 50mm banshee nuts on reassembly and 50mm axle wrenches are readily available :) I would happily rent a set if someone would entrust them to me for a spell, or if someone knows of a source where I can buy them I would super appreciate a link to it! Any advice is also welcome.
Info could also be texted to 276-780-1828
Thanks guys, 3WW is becoming an invaluable resource for me in my quest to have nice trikes!

ive had great luck with a chain vise grip
Snap-on carrys them, Spanner nut wrench, they will probably come loose pretty easy with a hammer and punch or a pipe wrench..there no good staying tight anyways :lol: a little heat dose wonders also.

I got the correct c spanner from yamaha & it was knackered within minutes. I switched to big hammer & strong screwdriver and I got it loose after 3 or 4 whacks

if your gonna use a tri z axle with banshee lock nuts .. they wont fit... there is only enough threds for one nut.

Its a banshee dura blue eliminator, went ahead and picked up the dura blue lock nut too so hoping it will work out lol.
Ordered a spanner wrench, have a pipe wrench handy, torch on stand by lol.

You need a small plate of 1/2" steel.
Drill 2 holes to slip over the old hub/wheel threads; Drill and tap a center and thread it for 1/2" threads.
I grind the pulling bolt to a point. Then I spray it and crank away.
No damage to any thing and I've used it many many times.
Use thick moly grease on all splines so water does not ever allow them to seize to the axle.
Not sure what you have for abilities but it's how I do it........

What do I do with this contraption?? lol.
Heres a pic of the axle and hubs, looks great, 41.125" from hub edge to hub edge at full width. Probably not gonna run it that wide, would have edges of tires @ 54" or so, shooting for 52" so I can fit through my trails and not tip lol.
