What are you guys using for a rear brake line for the 350X? I searched and couldn't find any threads about the line, just about the calipers.

Thanks,

My last 350x brake line, I ordered off ebay. It was braided stainless steel and had a protective plastic clear coating so it wouldn't wear away paint, powder coating or soft parts. It as bolt on and worked great.

We used an awesome brake line made by Hel for our 350x and 250r projects. It bolted up perfect and you can get it in a variety of colors. I'm not sure how much they are but you could ask Joe (atv on demand), he has the price, and they have both front and rear.

Thanks for the replys. Does anyone know how similar the 350X hose is to a 250R hose? I can find several 250R hoses, was leaning towards a Galfer just cause they are easy to find...

Contact "Renns auto sports" or find him with key words on EBAY. Ask him to throw up an auction for an ATV and he will contact you.

He makes all my hoses cheap and shipping from Canada is no issue.

He has great lines in any color (I got black) and is the least expensive I have ever found.

SOMEONE PLZ TRY THIS GUY!!!!!!!

Hey, thanks, I did order a line from him. His ID is 'rennsportautoparts' in case anyone else wants to order a line. It was $29.95 and $12 shipping ($41.95 total). Was the cheapest I could find and also the quickest shipping prediction (we'll see how it goes, but I'm guessing no problem). When I get the line I'll try and remember to report back on here as to how it fits.

Thanks again

OK, so I got the line yesterday in the mail. He sent it out in early March, plan on it taking two to three weeks for shipping just to cross the border (from Canada). The line would have been here much quicker, but we emailed back and forth a fair amount discussing lines and lengths. A key thing I want to point out here is that Raymond (the guy in Canada), was VERY good about making sure I got exactly what I wanted. He was very willing to make adjustments as necessary. I'll be buying any other lines I need in the future from this guy.

Anyways, I eventually just had him send me a standard line for the 200X because I wanted to see how close it would be. The fitting on the master cylinder side is evidently different on the 200X from the 350X. The 350X has a bend on the master cylinder side to clear the frame, while the 200X is a straight fitting (I didn't have a 200X handy for comparison). Both lines seem to have the same slight bend on the caliper side (I'm assuming a 15 degree bend). Holding the line in my vice with an old banjo bolt, I was able to mimic the master cylinder bend of the OEM line using the closed end of a wrench. It was pretty easy to modify, just take note of the orientation of the fittings front and rear to make sure you won't have to twist the line more than necessary. The line itself looks great (mine was stainless with a clear cover), it came with two new banjo bolts, and four new copper washers. I got it put on (I used some of the rubber spacers from the OEM line), and bled it out no problem.

I'm thinking of sending him a couple of my old OEM lines so he could make copies of them so they'd be available to somebody else needing a new rear line. I'll try and update this thread if that pans out.

Thanks
