I was just looking through my photobucket account at my past toys and it really brought back some good and regrets on selling them also. I can honestly say that I have been blessed with the opportunity to own various makes and models of ATV's & ATC's over the years considering I am only 27 years old. The Yamaha 225Dr, 250sx and Yamaha Blaster were all in my possession at the same time but the rest were all owned at different times. I had the 225Dr the longest and it was my first offroad toy. I also had an 87 250ES Big Red during the time of the other two trikes but there aren't any pics of it on my photobucket account, I sold it to my cousin that lived with us and he totaled it after hitting an automobile. If I could go back in time, the 225, Blaster and KFX would still be in my possession, Those there were my favorites to ride and are the ones I think about most. Here they are in order of first to last.

1985 Yamaha225dr It was originally black but I found the yellow DX fenders at an ATC salvage yard and ran for a little while and the only pics of it in black have to be scanned from pictures printed out at a store.

1985 250SX It had a 200x front end conversion and a Cobra exhaust, it was really nice but I think it was possessed. I never had more wrecks or just plain bad luck with anything else I have owned. Nothing really mechanical ever went wrong but I always had something happen while riding this thing and after it sold the bad luck went with it to my friend who eventually got to scared to ride the thing.

2001 Yamaha Blaster By far the most fun I ever had on four wheels! This thing excelled at nothing but was a blast to ride and would laugh at torture. I will own another one someday.

06 KFX 400 By far the best all around quad ever made! It's amazing what a pipe and jet kit will do to these things.

03 Suzuki Ozark I got this thing for a steal at $400 and enjoyed it for a few months but it was too boring for me.

07 400EX Great quad but I had to sell it due to finances.

1985 250r My current toy and all I can say is WOW! I love this thing, it has more power then any of my past quads and handles pretty darn good for a trike. I will be adding another to the stable in the future along with a 350x!

I also had a 200x roller for a while but never could find a decently priced engine for it and let it go after the Blaster came along. Anyone else regret selling anything?

I had fun with mine also but like mentioned above, it was possessed. I never once wrecked the 225 but had more on the SX then all of the others combined and just little weird things happened while I and my friend owned the thing. It was one of the 85 models without a rev limiter and I pegged out the tiny tach at 9,999RPMs going down a long steep hill drag racing the Blaster I owned. The engine was making some weird noises and I looked down at the tach and almost freaked out!lol Luckily it didn't blow up!

Why is that? They are in great condition too!

Because they are maier low profile racing fenders, so don't crack those, not replaceable. There are about 30 guys on here right now wanting a set. I would go find a nice maier set and put those up somewhere.

It's funny you mention that, I was thinking about trying to trade someone for a set of stockers!lol I kind of like the red more then white.

Need to use those fenders for the pattern to make a batch of new fenders. I will buy you a new set of maier red ones for those white ones :)

Man, I have gotten quite a few PM's about these fenders but am not sure what to do. If I get rid of them I will need to have the front and tank shrouds replaced at the same time and I have more important things to buy right this minute. The mounting holes on the shrouds are cracked and they need replaced anyway but not a priority at this time. I will most likely get rid of them though, especially knowing how rare they are cause I don't wanna feel like crap if something unfortunate happened and they got ruined.lol

make someone buy you a full new set of maiers in red. If they are that rare they are worth atleast that!!

This is the story of my life. I'm looking for a set in red(which I had and never should have sold in the first place), then and a yellow and white set pop up? What are the chances? I've given up and ordered a set of the Fighting Red Maier rears.
